This drove of inventive, creative maps and graphics depicting NYC are hitting, glorious, amazing, the best mode to wander New York City from your favorite chair, wherever you are.
Actually enjoyed browsing through this book, so many ways to tell a story of the mural (in this case New York City) and in the looking I've imagined new ways to tell the story of my own landscapes from 3d to the flat decorative image. This volume was wonderful! How are more people non reading this? I know I'll be sharing this title with others who I remember would be interested.
The people who created the maps are and so incredibly talented and imaginative. I enjoyed and so many creations, from those fabricated on a computer, to using trash found throughly NYC. You lot really get a adventure to see the city from and then many dissimilar perspectives, and made from a wide array of materials.
I only wish the book were larger in size, equally it was hard to run across some o

Yous really go a adventure to run across the city from so many different perspectives, and fabricated from a wide array of materials.
I only wish the book were larger in size, as information technology was hard to run into some of the illustrations. However, at that place are citations for each map provided, and then I'll be looking into my favorites a bit further.

A cantankerous betwixt an examination of maps, and an art review volume. I really liked the information provided. There really is a great breakdown of how we interpret cities through maps and how we correspond destinations. NYC is a wonderful instance report for this, due to the complexity of the City and the way it can be imagined and owned by and then many dissimilar people, through its places and communities.
This is a book of super cool and fun maps.
If you like maps, get it.
If you similar NYC, get it.

A very pretty book. There is no soul in concrete, only autonomously from the pointless dialogue, the book is pretty.
Every bit is e'er true with books well-nigh New York City, this could utilize more outer civic action. But it'southward also lovely seeing the means that people recall of the city without veering too abstruse (as some of the works in Mapping Manhattan could be, since it was about people's personal recollections).
